Waverly flies to Watertown in July

Check out Waverly's first online book reviews!

Hello Friends!

Just a quick reminder that “Waverly Braves the Breeze: The Story of a Galapagos Albatross” will be heading to my hometown of Watertown this morning, Saturday, July 27th. There will be a book talk, signing, Q&A, and activity for kids at 10 a.m. at Literatus Books & Co. Hope to see you there!

Already have a copy? Thank you!! If you feel so inclined, I'd love it if you could leave a review on Goodreads and/or Amazon to help more people learn about the book and Waverly's message of bravery, friendship, and conservation.

Thank you to Sam and Katy for being the first people to take the time to write a book review on these platforms. You don't have to purchase the book on Amazon to leave a review there. Positive reviews like these can boost sales by 20% and help more people see the book online. I appreciate your help in spreading the word!

Thank you for your continued support and encouragement!

Thanks for coming to Madison!

The last two weekends in June, I had the opportunity to share Waverly’s story with more friends and family at online, at Mystery to Me book store, and at Barnes and Noble West Madison! Thank you for the warm welcome!

Among the attendees were my high school tennis partner Rachel and her family, my college roomie and fellow writer Katie who drove all the way from Minnesota, my uncle Lyle, my volunteer pal Alice, writing pal Christine DeSmet (a local author and one of Waverly’s first draft editors), as well as a few familiar faces from Drew’s triathlon community. So grateful for all of your support!

Is there a local bookstore, library, school, or other venue that you think I should visit? I'm hoping to do a mini tour of the Fox Cities and Door County sometime this fall or next spring. Please reply to this email if you have any connections there and I can get in touch with them, or you can send them the press release and activity guide below if they are interested in reaching out.

Thank you for the support! Please follow along for more @author.samanthacora on Facebook and Instagram and encourage your friends to do the same!

How To Purchase Your Own Copy

I’ve received some great questions from several people about the best way to order my book. Some bookstores already have it on their shelves, and you can always request that they order it if you can't find it. Otherwise, you can use this link on Amazon, or through Tra Publishing, which supports an organization that plants a tree for each book ordered, or at Bookshop.org, which helps support your favorite local bookstore in the process.

Thank you again! I look forward to sharing more updates soon!
