Family M. – Summer
This time of year – when the leaves start to change and the golden corn is harvested – always seems a little bittersweet. While the sun accentuates all the natural beauty, I have to accept that the days are getting darker and colder … and soon the trees and fields will be bare.
So, I’m going to rewind to the end of green, warm August when I took photos of wonderful Family M. from my hometown of Lebanon. All of the kids and grandkids were able to meet up for this family shoot with a lovely country backdrop.
I shot this photo behind Mike and Gloria M.’s home, where you can see a farm that runs in the family in the background. If you can’t tell, Gloria loves her flowers!
They even built a playhouse in the backyard for their grandkids.
Here are the kiddos with their parents:
And can’t forget about the sisters:
Or playtime, for that matter:
This awesome family was so laid back and fun to photograph. I would gladly come back any season of the year to do this again. See more photos from the shoot on Flickr.
