Join Samantha Cora, local author and creator of Playful Acorns, and LC Babywearing for a short walk at McCarthy Youth Conservation Park. Get fitted for a baby carrier, listen to stories, look for birds, and follow the StoryWalk as you explore. The event is free, signed "Waverly" books for sale.

Join us at the start of spring migration for a relaxing birding and nature connection gathering for parents of babies and toddlers (older kids are welcome) at McCarthy Youth & Conservation Park in Cottage Grove.
Leslie, a local babywearing expert, will bring a selection of baby carriers along if you'd like to try something new during our walk, and she will also offer fit checks for carriers that people bring along with them.
Samantha, a local author and nature nerd, will share some birding picture books and lead us on a relaxed nature walk as we listen and look for birds, animal tracks, and other signs of spring through the fields and woods. You are invited to stay at the park and continue your playful exploration after the event.
